Gushing about books is not something I do that often, well possibly apart from my own, but I’ve been gushing about Women In Tech by Tarah Wheeler Van Vlack. Everything I should have known about the industry, even 30 years ago, is in this book.
“Readers will learn: the best format for tech resumes; how to ace a tech interview; the secrets of salary negotiation; the perks of both contracting (W-9) and salaried full-time work; the secrets of mentorship; and how to start your own company.”
I bought it for someone else in the house, they very nearly didn’t get it. I think I need to by another copy.
