By some marginal fluke the excellent Digital Circle website tells us that there are 144 digital content businesses in Belfast.
Let’s take some other data. Newry and Derry….

Does this mean that the Golden Ratio could be applied to Northern Ireland startups, well there’s a good chance it can.

Another way to say it would be there’s two ratios from Newry to Derry and four from Derry to Belfast.
The question is this: if Derry meets it’s objective off creating 100 digital startups does that mean that Belfast will have 671 companies listed and Newry have 38?
It’s not a loaded question, it’s a question to see if the rule stands up and works out.
