Push notifications on iOS are those messages you get from applications when they’re not running. Nice little reminders or an update to flight information.
I don’t like getting a ton of messages when I’m at the house for no other reason that being at a computer most of the time therefore I don’t need them. Now I know the easiest solution is to go into the settings and turn them off.
The cooler “don’t make me think” setting would be to let you set where “home” is via GPS. This is then stored on the phone internally. When you’re in range of “home” then notifications are disabled then once you’re outside a defined radius, say a quarter of a mile, then notifications are active again.
